Born on the Eighteenth of February

February 18, my birthday. The day it all began, well for me anyway so many years ago. February 18 rolls around every year and I reflect on the good and not so good experiences I have had. I reflect on my family and feel all chuffed. Your birthday is a wonderful day for reflection and looking forward. I have never been one to think of the New Year as the day for goals and big plans. Your birthday makes perfect sense for that.

This year I thought about what lies ahead for me. What can I do to make it better? Here we are starting off this blog and looking at ways to earn income from home, of writing and reflecting. What hit me was ‘I know, what about quotes from people born on February 18?’ I checked around and indeed found some inspirational independent thought from people that shared my birthday. That has to be good right???

So here we are a selection of quotes from people born on February 18 that inspire the independence and aspirations that I seek. With a few that fit write in with the writing gig, others are just plain quirky.

Residual Income Writing Project

Well here we are writing about being a work at home dad. My first project for this blog is writing content and earning residual income from it. I have studied the main sites that pay you to do this and we are up and running. I have concentrated on niche sites, affiliate marketing and earning residual income. I have two handles for this project sublimemuse and billyaustindillon. I will explain that one later!

Follow along with my writing at eHow, Hubpages, Redgage, Bukisa, Squidoo, and Xomba. I will stay updated on this blog with what is working, what isn't and any tips. My goals are pretty simple for this project. Initially I have set monthly revenue targets ($20 for January of eHow - WooHoo!), improved writing, my own ebooks, published work and a source of passive residual income.

So here we go.....
