Residual Income Writing Project

Well here we are writing about being a work at home dad. My first project for this blog is writing content and earning residual income from it. I have studied the main sites that pay you to do this and we are up and running. I have concentrated on niche sites, affiliate marketing and earning residual income. I have two handles for this project sublimemuse and billyaustindillon. I will explain that one later!

Follow along with my writing at eHow, Hubpages, Redgage, Bukisa, Squidoo, and Xomba. I will stay updated on this blog with what is working, what isn't and any tips. My goals are pretty simple for this project. Initially I have set monthly revenue targets ($20 for January of eHow - WooHoo!), improved writing, my own ebooks, published work and a source of passive residual income.

So here we go.....

What are your thoughts on each of the web sites you mention. I write on most of them and I find Ehow give the most money for the least work.

Thank you Daddy Paul for visiting. Yes I find eHow the best payer. I haven't written on Bukisa yet as they had issues with their updates. I joined another site Hubpages which I enjoy and it seems to pay well and goes directly to your adsense account. eHow has had publication issues of late also so important to have more than one writing source. I have only written one article on Squidoo and found the traffic really poor actually. RedGage seems to have potential. As it stand I have written about 140 eHow articles and 12 Hubpages. I will update this on the blog shortly. Thnk you for your post.

I havent had a whole lot of luck with squidoo. I've just now started hubpages but I'm not too sure about it yet.

Good to see you Rachel. Yes Squidoo I have only done the one article - seemed to be an effort to write it and had no views. HubPages has been good - the articles I wrote Comics on iPad got a link from outside with no promotion the next morning and has had got click throughs. That pricked my ears up. The publication problems on eHow have made me look around. Definitely the easiest to write at but has its limits - no photos and only how to. Plus the fact you haven't been able to publish anything for well over a week! I have done done anything on Bukisa on Xooba yet - any thoughts there?
